Areia | 8S Vintage Slub Workwear Trouser

388,00

The Areia is a testament to the rugged elegance of traditional utility. Built for those who value the “soul” of a garment, these trousers are defined by a heavy-gauge texture and a construction philosophy that prioritizes longevity and tactile character. It is a bridge between heritage workwear and refined everyday wear—less oversized than a traditional dungaree, but significantly more robust than a standard jean.

Descrição

Fabric & Character

  • The Material: Crafted from 8S Vintage Slub Selvedge in a deep, earthen Sand. This fabric is defined by its 8S Slub yarn—thick, heavy threads that create a rustic, uneven “high-low” texture across the surface.
  • Yarn-Dyed Depth: Unlike modern denim that is surface-coated, our fibers are yarn-dyed to the core before weaving. This ensures a rich, saturated color that retains its depth and dignity through years of hard wear.
  • The Feel: The “Slub Style” weave offers a substantial, handmade feel that awakens as the fabric breaks in, molding to the wearer’s movements.

Fit Notes

  • The Silhouette: An Almost Straight Leg with a very subtle, sophisticated taper. This provides a clean line that avoids the bulk of vintage work pants while remaining functional for movement.
  • Reinforcement: The front panels feature integrated knee pads, a nod to classic workshop attire that adds both structural durability and a distinct visual weight to the silhouette.

Interior & Hardware

  • Double-Constructed Pockets: The front pockets feature a sophisticated dual-layer build. The visible interior displays a floral linen-texture lining (100% cotton), while the hidden inner bags are crafted from soft, combed cotton for that familiar, “broken-in” comfort.
  • Masterful Finishing: Every internal pocket is secured with a rugged double overlock and French seam finishing, ensuring the interior is as beautiful and durable as the exterior.
  • The Hardware: In place of standard rivets, The Areia is fitted with Vintage Chicago Screws—industrial-grade fasteners that provide a clean, mechanical aesthetic and superior hold.
  • Back Pockets: Fully lined with the signature floral 100% cotton fabric, providing a hidden detail of craftsmanship every time you reach for your essentials.

Availability: Each pair is made to order with a lead time of 4–6 weeks. Due to the complexity of the double-pocket construction and the heavy weight of the 8S yarn, production is strictly limited.

Denim | Care & Evolution

  • Wash: Turn inside-out. Hand soak in a tub or machine wash, cold or lukewarm with mild detergent.

  • Dry: Hang dry only; avoid tumble drying.

  • Note: Expect indigo bleeding—a signature mark of authentic Japanese denim.

Leather | Care & Evolution

  • Exposure: Avoid water; if wet, pat dry immediately.

  • Maintenance: Clean with a soft cloth; condition every 3–6 months.

  • Storage: Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. Store in a cool, dry place.

  • Hardware: Wipe regularly to maintain shine. Minor scratches add character.

Exotic Leather | Care & Evolution

  • Handling: Always slide through loops with the grain to prevent scale lifting.

  • Maintenance: Apply exotic leather conditioner every 3–4 months in the direction of the scales.

  • Storage: Hang straight by the buckle. Do not roll, as this causes scales to "gape."

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, barely damp cloth. Never rub against the grain.

  • Note: If a scale lifts, do not pull. Secure with a tiny dab of leather-safe adhesive.

Cotton | Care & Evolution

  • Wash: Turn inside-out; use cold or lukewarm water with gentle detergent.

  • Dry: Hang dry to preserve fit and color.

  • Press: Iron inside-out on low to medium heat.

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.

Wool | Care & Evolution

  • Wash: Professional dry clean or hand wash cold with wool detergent.

  • Dry: Reshape and dry flat to prevent stretching.

  • Maintenance: Avoid excessive heat and friction to prevent pilling.

  • Storage: Store folded in a cool, dry place to retain garment shape.
