Fabric & Character
- The Material: Crafted from 8S Vintage Slub Selvedge in a deep, earthen Sand. This fabric is defined by its 8S Slub yarn—thick, heavy threads that create a rustic, uneven “high-low” texture across the surface.
- Yarn-Dyed Depth: Unlike modern denim that is surface-coated, our fibers are yarn-dyed to the core before weaving. This ensures a rich, saturated color that retains its depth and dignity through years of hard wear.
- The Feel: The “Slub Style” weave offers a substantial, handmade feel that awakens as the fabric breaks in, molding to the wearer’s movements.
Fit Notes
- The Silhouette: An Almost Straight Leg with a very subtle, sophisticated taper. This provides a clean line that avoids the bulk of vintage work pants while remaining functional for movement.
- Reinforcement: The front panels feature integrated knee pads, a nod to classic workshop attire that adds both structural durability and a distinct visual weight to the silhouette.
Interior & Hardware
- Double-Constructed Pockets: The front pockets feature a sophisticated dual-layer build. The visible interior displays a floral linen-texture lining (100% cotton), while the hidden inner bags are crafted from soft, combed cotton for that familiar, “broken-in” comfort.
- Masterful Finishing: Every internal pocket is secured with a rugged double overlock and French seam finishing, ensuring the interior is as beautiful and durable as the exterior.
- The Hardware: In place of standard rivets, The Areia is fitted with Vintage Chicago Screws—industrial-grade fasteners that provide a clean, mechanical aesthetic and superior hold.
- Back Pockets: Fully lined with the signature floral 100% cotton fabric, providing a hidden detail of craftsmanship every time you reach for your essentials.
Availability: Each pair is made to order with a lead time of 4–6 weeks. Due to the complexity of the double-pocket construction and the heavy weight of the 8S yarn, production is strictly limited.
