Origin: Guangdong China

Woven with an 8S Slub yarn, the fabric features thick, heavy threads that create a rustic, uneven texture. Unlike modern, flat denim, this “Slub Style” weave has a soul of its own, offering a tactile experience that feels handmade and substantial.

Because it is Yarn-Dyed, the color is deeply saturated into the core of the fibers before weaving. This ensures a rich, solid base color that holds its depth much longer than surface-dyed fabrics, making it the ideal choice for classical vintage silhouettes.

The Fade: What to Expect

This denim is all about “Texture Over Time.” While a smooth denim fades evenly, this 8S Slub creates a dramatic, high-low visual effect.

  • The “Salt & Pepper” Fade: Because the 8S yarn is chunky and irregular, the “high points” of the slub will be the first to lose their dye. This creates a beautiful, grainy “salt and pepper” effect across the surface of the jeans.

  • Vintage Character: Instead of sharp, modern lines, this fabric develops soft, “vintage” fades. It mimics the look of a well-loved pair of jeans from the 1940s or 50s—natural, rugged, and full of character.

  • Heavy Grain Definition: Over time, the twill lines (the diagonal ribs of the fabric) will become more visible. The chunky 8S yarn makes these lines pop, giving the fabric a “heavy grain” look that looks better with every wash.

Denim | Care & Evolution

  • Wash: Turn inside-out. Hand soak in a tub or machine wash, cold or lukewarm with mild detergent.

  • Dry: Hang dry only; avoid tumble drying.

  • Note: Expect indigo bleeding—a signature mark of authentic Japanese denim.

Leather | Care & Evolution

  • Exposure: Avoid water; if wet, pat dry immediately.

  • Maintenance: Clean with a soft cloth; condition every 3–6 months.

  • Storage: Keep away from direct sunlight and heat. Store in a cool, dry place.

  • Hardware: Wipe regularly to maintain shine. Minor scratches add character.

Exotic Leather | Care & Evolution

  • Handling: Always slide through loops with the grain to prevent scale lifting.

  • Maintenance: Apply exotic leather conditioner every 3–4 months in the direction of the scales.

  • Storage: Hang straight by the buckle. Do not roll, as this causes scales to "gape."

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, barely damp cloth. Never rub against the grain.

  • Note: If a scale lifts, do not pull. Secure with a tiny dab of leather-safe adhesive.

Cotton | Care & Evolution

  • Wash: Turn inside-out; use cold or lukewarm water with gentle detergent.

  • Dry: Hang dry to preserve fit and color.

  • Press: Iron inside-out on low to medium heat.

  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place.

Wool | Care & Evolution

  • Wash: Professional dry clean or hand wash cold with wool detergent.

  • Dry: Reshape and dry flat to prevent stretching.

  • Maintenance: Avoid excessive heat and friction to prevent pilling.

  • Storage: Store folded in a cool, dry place to retain garment shape.
